Our Woodland Habitat Survey

On the 18th of October we went on a science trail to Corkagh Park, We carried out a woodland habitat survey. We studied the Sycamore, the Ash, the Horse Chestnut and the Hawthorn tress among others. We used an isosceles triangle and our own height to measure the height of these very tall trees.

Local History Trail

We went on an historical trail through our local village Clondalkin. We learned lots of interesting facts about about our area in the past.

We learned about procedural writing. We followed these instructions and baked  scones. They tasted delicious!
